Respect owners of political parties, ODM will collapse without Raila, so does Jubilee without Uhuru

Guys, in KENYA political parties do not portend a political ideology. There is no specific political ideologies in Kenya. You cant say ODM stands for socialism or any political ideology. Nor Jubilee party or any other party for that matter. As such, belonging to a political party is not a matter of IDEOLOGY but a matter of INTEREST. It is more of the PARTY leader or your own interest. I know this is hard to process for some of you but it is the reality.

Beyond the simple left–right analysis, liberalism, conservatism, libertarianism and populism are the four most common ideologies in the United States, apart from those who identify as moderate. Most political parties in the USA and Britain identify with any of these ideologies and you join a party depending on your inclinations. As such parties are going concerns. Meaning they can exist into perpetuity with or without you.

Kenyan parties can not exist without the OWNERS. As such we cant belong to parties in Kenya but to specific individuals. ODM will collapse without Raila, so does Jubilee without Uhuruto, so does Wiper without Kalonzo and many others. If you defy these individuals, it is said in Kenya that you have gone against the party, not the individual. And that said, this individuals never retire from the parties. They are forever unless dead or left (In which case the party ceases to exist)

So bear no shame public stating you support Alfred Mutua, Raila Odinga, Kalonzo, Mudavadi or even William Ruto. It is what it is in Kenya unless we GO TO THE LENGTHS of building strong institutions that can outlast individuals. Parties that remain with or without you.
