President Uhuru Kenyatta sacks Tourism PS Fatuma Hirsi – Politics – kenyagist

President Uhuru Kenyatta has sacked the Tourism Permanent Secretary Fatuma Hirsi.

In a letter addressed to Ms Mohamed and copied to Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala, the Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua informed the former PS that she had not been considered for re-appointment.

“In this regard, your employment contract has been terminated forthwith. Consequently, you will be paid salary up to June 30, 2018 which will be your last working day. You are in the meantime requested to hand-over your office to the Principal Secretary Wildlife,” the letter read in part.

Kinyua thanked for her services to the nation and wished well in her future endeavors.
