There was drama in Ganda ward, Malindi, after Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa stormed Reuben Katana’s homestead and caused havoc which left one person dead.
The MP is said to have stormed the homestead to confront Reuben after sensing defeat in the coming Ganda ward by-election.
The confrontation attracted bystanders who rushed to help cool down tempers. It is at this point that Aisha’s boyfriend popularly known as “Jeff” drew his weaponand shot Dead Reuben’s Uncle in front on Malindi Deputy OCS.
The incident comes a few days after the Malindi MP threatened the lives of ODM supporters among The Snr Nyundo and other ODM youth leaders.
The body of the deceased is currently preserved at the Malindi County Hospital as the family awaits justice.
Reliable sources say MP Aisha has resolved to instil fear upon ODM supporters in a bid to intimidate them not to vote in the coming Ganda ward by-election scheduled to take place on Thursday 17th October 2019.
