All 67 Members of the Meru County Assembly who were present on the evening of Wednesday, December 14, voted to impeach their embattled Governor Kawira Mwangaza.
The lawmakers argued that Mwangaza had repeatedly abused her office.
The impeachment motion was tabled for, a second time, by the leader of the Minority Dennis Kiogora who presented, among others video clips, to back his accusations against the Governor.
