The club owner in the video that went around on social media claimed to be well-connected with the powers that be.

“I am not paying you, Where can you take me? There is nowhere you can take me. I talk to the President directly,” the employer is captured threatening his staff.

“If I resolve to take action against you, you will regret it, I will not pay you,” he spoke to Citizen.

The Deputy Inspector of Police Noor Gabow asked the female employee to walk into any police station and record a statement on what had transpired.

“The National Police Service has taken note of a distasteful video clip circulating on social media showing a man alleged to be the owner of Rixxos Lounge in Kitengela harassing and threatening a female employee demanding her unpaid salary,” the statement read.

Further, the police boss assured the public that the law would be applied to everyone regardless of social networks or status.

The female employee captured in the viral video recorded her statement on December 9, 2022, following the directive by the National Police Service (NPS).

Video of the purported club owner went viral, with a section of Kenyans on social media calling on the police to apprehend the man.

On Thursday, December 8, the police stormed the club in search of the owner who was a no-show.
