Karen Nyamu has every right to defend her relationship with Samidoh

0

Karen Nyamu has been receiving backlash since she announced her relationship with singer Samidoh. For some reason, she automatically became an enemy to goat wives who have branded her a home-wrecker but Karen being Karen….she remains committed and determined to have Samidoh in her life.

Samidoh with his bubbly and fun baby mama, Karen Nyamu

After visiting him in the US where he had several shows, many accused her of being insecure…but again you have to remember she went there after the Mugithii singer was linked to some curvaceous woman….which might actually explain why many claim Karen is an insecure person…she proved it, right?

Anyway barely a month since then, Karen Nyamu is back to engaging in online fights with her fans and asual…it was about Samidoh and her (Karen) being a husband snatcher.

Karen hitting back at fans means she will fight for her true love

Well thanks to a few screenshots shared online, one can see how Ms Nyamu’s ‘haters’ came at her reminding her that she stole someone’s husband and is shamelessly parading him online.

Okay…i didnt know grown human beings can be stolen from their spouses but responding to one who wrote;

Get a husband of your own and we will consider your moral authority to give your views…

To which Karen Nyamu responded saying;

Legendary Ke: the problem is you think i care

And another…

Well….we can’t say that Karen Nyamu deserves the hate she has been getting because at the end of the day….she too is human and maybe the haters should take it up with Samidoh, right?

Oparanya Breaks Silence on Dumping Raila

0

  • Former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya dispelled reports that he had parted ways with Azimio Principal Raila Odinga.

In an interview with TV 47 on Wednesday, November 30, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) deputy leader, insisted that he had no intentions of ditching the former Prime Minister to join President William Ruto.

“Raila is my party leader and we have been best friends all along, I have no problem with him at all,” Oparanya stated.

Furthermore, Oparanya ruled out the possibility of leaving ODM to join the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

He alleged that the report about his defection was a scheme to confuse and divide the opposition.

“Why Would I leave a party that I was part of its formation?” Oparanya quipped adding that he had also seen the rumors being spread regarding his defection from ODM.

“I think they are from government agents, but definitely, you should know that I am in ODM to stay,” the former chair of the Council of Governors indicated.

“I have never seen a clip where I was captured specifically saying that I had left ODM,” the vocal politician stated.

Unsubstantiated reports had indicated that Oparanya had ruled out helping ODM in the future, especially in the Western region.

The reports also alleged that Oparanya had resolved to chart a different political path to ensure he is in government after 2027 while fostering Luhya unity.

He, however, dismissed all the reports indicating that they were false and misleading.

At the same time, the ODM deputy party leader accused President Ruto’s administration of staging a revenge mission against the four Independent Electoral and Boundaries (IEBC) commissioners who disowned the August 9 Presidential results.

Instead of removing the IEBC vice chair Juliana Cherera and commissioners Irene Masit, Francis Wanderi, and Justus Nyang’aya, Oparanya advised Ruto’s administration to institute positive reforms.

“When you come in and want revenge is not good for this country. If they succeed, we will have anarchy in this country,” Oparanya.

Wiper Fires Back at Raila's Plan to Run Parallel Jamhuri Day Event

    0

  • Wiper Party Chair Chirau Ali Mwakwere condemned alleged plans by Raila Odinga to hold a parallel Jamhuri Day event on December 12.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke on Wednesday, November 30, Mwakwere termed the idea selfish and warned perpetrators against sabotaging the peace in the country.

He claimed that proceeding with the plan would take Kenya a few strides back after it made tremendous progress following the peaceful conclusion of the general election.

“What will he do next, swear himself as the president? He will take us back to lawlessness because we gain nothing by creating unnecessary tension in the country.

    Former Minister Chirau Ali Makwere

“Ruto is the president now and you cannot reverse that by holding a parallel rally,” Mwakwere remarked.

In addition, the Wiper chairperson warned that Raila risked soiling his reputation as a champion for democracy and a leader who upholds the rule of law.

“He will become a laughing stock nationally and internationally. The best way to do so is by performing the role given to them by the people,” he stated.

Mwakwere reaffirmed that Wiper will not be part of the parallel event and asked party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to distance himself from the event.

Some of the Azimio-affiliated leaders who attended the parliamentary group shared his sentiments, stating that it would cause political instability.

Earlier, reports alleged that Azimio was considering organising parallel Jamhuri Day celebrations. Insiders claimed this was one way of keeping Ruto’s government in check.

Azimio postponed planned nationwide demonstrations after considering complaints raised by parents whose candidates are sitting national exams.

Ruto had warned the opposition against disrupting the candidates and slowing the economy.

However, sources closer to the presidency alleged that Ruto reached out to former President Uhuru Kenyatta to broker a peace deal with Raila. Uhuru reportedly convinced Raila to suspend the demonstrations.

Meanwhile, Wiper’s Kalonzo caused political heads to turn when he attended the Mashujaa day celebrations at Uhuru Gardens, honouring an invitation by Ruto.

Kalonzo, despite attending the ceremony, reiterated that he was loyal to Raila. He even rejected a job offer from Ruto.

Meanwhile, this is the second time Raila may consider running parallel operations with the government. In December 2017, he announced that he would conduct a parallel event on Jamhuri day at a secret election, where he would swear himself in as the people’s president.

However, the plan was aborted. Nonetheless, on January 30, 2018, the former Prime Minister took the oath of office with the backing of lawyer Miguna Miguna.

In March 2022, Raila had a handshake with then-President Uhuru Kenyatta, agreeing to work together. The deal saw Ruto edged out of government and use the handshake as a launchpad for his State House bid.

Stevo Boy should quit romantic relationships and focus on his music

    0

Stevo Simple boy started his career as a singer but immediately after he changed his management team, the young man turned to relationships and this is how we came to know about Pritty Vishy and the rest that came after.

And for this reason Stevo Simple boy started making news linking him to women and not hit songs like many had hoped. Not that the relationships didnt do him any good (clout) but many know him as an artist from the ghetto….and his dreams to become a big artist were valid.

Many supported his music but looking at his latest projects, we cant say they have anything to do with his career….for instance a few days ago he shared his opinion on dating older women to whch he said:

Yes they have money and that is why they think I can go to them. But the reason I do not want to be involved with them is that they will dump me if I go broke.

Maybe switch music for relationship coach?

This being his first interview in months, one would have expected to hear about upcoming projects…but no…Stevo chose to talk about his love life and ex, Pritty Vishy.

At this point i am thinking – what if she was his inspiration? What if she is the one that got away and Stevo has now lost focus? What if?

Anyway truth is…with the many opportunities music has opened for Stevo, how about he makes money and he puts himself first for once. Yes?

How Ruto's Tweet Could Save Cherera 4

    0

  • Opinion is divided on the implication of President William Ruto’s comment over the ongoing proceedings that are seeking to ouster four Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioners.

President William Ruto on Friday, November 25, in a tweet, claimed that the four commissioners popularly referred to as ‘Cherera Four’ are not fit to hold public office.

In a statement that sought to answer Azimio La Umoja Leader Raila Odinga, Ruto stated that the four commissioners almost plunged the country into chaos.

“The lords of impunity, who destroyed oversight institutions using the handshake fraud, should allow parliament to hold rogue officials who put the nation in danger by subverting the democratic will of the people to be held to account.

“New order is the rule of law, not the wishes of big men,” Ruto wrote on Twitter.

Ruto’s tweet played out during the hearing led by the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC) committee. Lawyer Apolo Mboya argued that the outcome of the proceedings was already pre-determined.

“To ascertain whether the process is already predetermined taking into account that the President who may end up forming a Tribunal referred to the Four Commissioners of IEBC as rogue officials,” Lawyer Apolo explained.

The Lawyer argued that the process had largely been politicised against the four commissioners.

“There is need to obtain better and further particulars on the nexus between the petitions before this Honourable Departmental Committee and that tweet of President William Ruto on 25/11/2022 at 8.50 am,” Apolo told the committee.

While rejecting summons from the JLAC committee, Commissioner Irine Masit who snubbed the team claimed that it has no jurisdiction over the matter.

Through her lawyer Irene Masit told the MPs that they ‘have no jurisdiction to entertain the petition.’ The commissioner claimed that the process was out of reach for a fair process.

Legal experts have offered conflicting opinions on the effects of Ruto’s tweet, especially, should the four commissioners move to court.

“The only claim they may raise against the President is in libel for stating that they subverted the will of the people,” Lawyer SGI Oriaro explained.

Oriaro, however, differed with Mboya that the president’s claims carry a lot of wait before a court of law.

“That claim, if brought before a court of law, may not be strong evidence that could convince a judge.

“As such, there should therefore be no good reason for the commissioners moving to court on the basis of the tweet,” Oriaro added.

Mboya, representing Cherera, had demanded that Ruto be summoned to appear before the JLAC committee to explain his statement.

Pallets: How Kenyan Designers Are Minting Money By Reusing Wooden Structures

    0

  • Wooden pallets have become a source of income for Kenyans who are turning them into creative items.

One piece of evidence of the creative items made by the reused wooden structures was the main entrance at Green Park terminal in Nairobi during the launch of Hustler Fund by President William Ruto on Wednesday, November 30.

The entrance was designed perfectly using pallets, creating an appealing visual impression.

Pallets cost Ksh250 to around Ksh700 depending on the vendors and locations.

    Pallets Intended Use

Pallets are flat transport structure which stably supports goods while being lifted by a forklift, a pallet jack, a front loader, a jacking device, or an erect crane.

They were specially designed to help in transporting goods overseas. Goods in shipping containers are often placed on a pallet secured with strapping, stretch wrap or shrink wrap.

Pallets were first invented in the period from 1101 to 1200. They were introduced to replace older forms of crating like wooden boxes and barrels.

    New Designs

Besides the entrance displayed at Green Park Terminus, different designers are making creative items from pallets.

In Nairobi, a bed made using pallets costs north of Ksh45,000. Some designers making creative beds from wooden structures include Home of Pallets and Crates, which markets them on social media platforms.

Some beds are further fitted with LED lights to add their aesthetic value. For instance, Nderind Furniture, based in Nairobi, sells such modified beds at Ksh36,658.

Additionally, some designers are reusing the pallets to make different interior structures such as wardrobes, cabinets, TV stands and dining kitchens among others.

Designers ask for as much as Ksh100,000 to make a kitchen cabinet using pallets and other outdoor furnitures.

With the rising demand for pallet-made items, their prices have soared all over the country, with designers earning a fortune from them.

More DCI Cops From Disbanded Special Unit Arrested

    0

  • Detectives arrested four more police officers linked to the disbanded Special Services Unit (SSU) squad.

On Wednesday, November 30, insiders within the Internal Affairs Unit (IAU) noted that the four were detained at Capital Hill Police Station in Nairobi, awaiting to be arraigned in court on Thursday, December 1.

Further, reports detailed that two senior officers from DCI headquarters alleged to have been directly involved with SSU activities recorded statements about the inner workings of the disbanded Unit and the disappearance of two Indians and their taxi driver.

The two, however, distanced themselves from connecting to the SSU unit in its operations.

Detectives also extended their probe to officers attached to the Kenya Wildlife Services to dig deeper into the alleged involvement of an officer attached to the Nyeri Abadares forest.

The move to investigate KWS created tension within the wildlife service and other units linked to the alleged dirty deeds that left scores dead under mysterious conditions.

Eight others who were arrested before were slated to undergo DNA tests to facilitate further investigations into their involvement in the series of extra-judicial killings reported in the past.

However, the DNA tests did not go as planned due to a lack of the requisite facilities at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) laboratories.

Attempts by the detectives to use a government laboratory proved futile as the suspects rejected the option.

The suspects were instructed by the defence lawyers to reject any attempt to use government chemists.

“Court had previously ordered a DNA test to be conducted at DCI labs which unfortunately has no facilities for the exercise,” an insider stated.

Following the arrest of the four, the number of officers looped to the mysterious murders rose to 12. SSU was disbanded after an order made by President William Ruto shortly after assuming power.

Ruto was on record vowing to bring the extra-judicial killings to an end in his tenure as the President.

Cohen’s Family Responds to DPP Haji Case Withdrawal

    0

  • The late Tob Cohen’s family through lawyer Danstan Omari on Wednesday, November 30, opposed the move by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) to withdraw the charges against Sarah Wairimu.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Omari argued that the DPP had not given sufficient reasons as to why the matter should be withdrawn.

He attested that the victims ought to have been informed about the new developments instead of being left in the dark.

“The office of the DPP has not furnished us with sufficient reasons as to why the case should be withdrawn, this was not done in good faith,” Omari revealed.

State counsel Wangui Gichuhi communicated that the ODDP decided to withdraw because of the affidavit by DCI officer John Gachomo in which he retracted earlier statements filed.

“An inquest we believe will serve the interest of all parties involved in this matter,” Gichuhi expounded.

However, Sarah’s lawyer, Philip Murgor stated that they had been seeking the withdrawal of the charges for the past three years.

“Our letters were never responded to until this application today, there was even an attempt to have me charged,” Murgor divulged.

Sarah Wairimu Cohen was charged three years ago and the case has never proceeded.

October 14, 2022, Sarah called for the investigation and prosecution of ex-DCI boss George Kinoti over his role in alleged fabrications and skewed probe into the case.

Through her lawyer Murgor, she wanted Kinoti investigated following a revelation that the former top detective might have lied about the role of a Court of Appeal judge who was implicated in the murder of the Dutch tycoon.

In a sworn affidavit presented in court, a DCI detective identified as John Gachomo argued that his former boss misled him into signing the document that implicated the judge.

“I can confirm that the contents of the Affidavit dated 27th September 2021 are neither based on facts nor documents from the file held by my office,” Gachomo revealed.

“That the contents of the said Affidavit are false and I therefore retract, deny of any knowledge and could not have been uttered by myself,” he added.

Why Akothee Should Stop Blaming Bloggers

    0

Akothee has been on the limelight for the longest time; and mostly, for her unscrupulous acts. After unveiling her new boyfriend, Akothee is now known to fancy white men. She has not only dated them, but even got married and sired kids.

Recently, Akothee went on a rant on social media to threaten bloggers and everyone who was bad-mouthing her. To add salt to injury, she threatened to sue bloggers for a whooping ksh 300 million.

“It has come to my attention that Kenyans have been looking for me. I am here and I’m here to stay.

You wake up in the morning, and the first thing you come to is my page. You do not even have a life that’s why you are always gossiping about mine. Akothee this, Akothee that….Oh, role model, Akothee has many husbands, body count.”

    Why Akothee Should Shush!

But what’s the use of complaining? Akothee should blame herself. The main reason being she exposes her life and subjects it to public criticism. Keep in mind Akothee is always ready to flaunt her new lover; or rather, her next move.

What do you expect after showing off your life? Obviously people will talk about you. And one thing you can’t stop as a celebrity is fans talking about you.

This is exactly what’s popping. But Akothee is disenchanted with people talking about her. The only way to solve this is to avoid exposing herself too much.
