A statement issued on Wednesday, January 19, indicated that 13 of the officers who were stationed at the headquarters were redeployed in Nairobi to handle the revenue fraud cases.
The 13 were redirected to report to their work stations on Thursday, January 20 while the rest are expected at their new stations on Friday, January 28.
“Those officers who have been deployed to DCI HQS-1B to report to KRA Nairobi on or before January 20 without fail.
“The rest of the officers to report to their new stations on or before January 28, 2022. Ensure proper handing/taking over is done and confirm departure/arrival,” directed the statement.
Those transferred to the fraud unit are Bernard Kwarat, Danaiel Muhuhi (from DCI headquarters planning department), Moses Oreata, Fredrick Okeyo, Josphine Andia and Elias Mwanje Baya.
Others are Joseph Wambua Ndonye, Mugambi Benjamin Gikundi, Pauline Wanjiku Wamuya, Gladys Kipruto, Felix Otieno Hongo, Simon Ndarwa Mwangi and Faith Mukui Kitheka.
Lilian Otieno was moved from the revenue fraud unit to Mombasa Railways Terminus while Nicholas Mutinda was transferred from Naivasha to Kakamega South office.
Mary Mueni Mbai, on the other hand, was moved from Kakamega South and will now be stationed at Magarini while Philip Rukwaro will leave Coast office to Ganze.
