Kenya's Covid-19 Cases Cross 22,000 Mark
  • On Sunday, August 2, Kenya recorded 690 new cases of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) with the total cases reported so far rising to 22,053.

    The cases were recorded from 5,393 samples tested over the last 24 hours.

    In the statement issued out by the Ministry of Health (MoH), Nairobi led with 535 confirmed cases.

    Out of the positive cases, 492 were male and 198 were female. 681 are Kenyans and 9 are foreigners, with the youngest being a 6-month-old infant and the oldest an 83-year-old.

    MoH further announced that 58 had recovered during the period.

    On a sad note, 5 people died from the virus over the last 24 hours.
