Kenya celebrates World Ozone Day, Duale to lead celebration

Environment Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale will today lead the 2024 World Ozone Day celebration.

The celebration will take place at the Kenya Meteorological Department Headquarters in Dagoretti Corner, Nairobi.

The celebration is under the theme “Montreal Protocol: Advancing Climate Actions”.

CJ Koome to hold a meeting with Development partners

Chief Justice Martha Koome to host the CJ’s Annual Development Partners Round Table.

The event will be held at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi.

Devani case

A magistrate Court is expected to conduct a pre-trial conference in the 2008 Triton oil scandal facing oil tycoon Yagnesh Devani

The last time the matter was in court the Prosecution said they were yet to comply with earlier directions issued.

They were yet to serve some of the documents required for trial as they had been produced as exhibits in a similar case before a different court.

Nairobi hospital doctors’ strike

Services are set to be paralysed beginning today after doctors at the Nairobi hospital doctors issued a strike notice saying they will not admit patients.

They said will only attend to patients in the wards, their private clinics and emergency cases only.

The doctors said in the notice that their strike is part of their efforts to force the Nairobi Hospital Board of Management to resign.
