EPRA increased the price of Petrol by Ksh77 cents and retained the May prices for Diesel and Kerosene.
Fuel, therefore, retails at Petrol Kshs127.14, Diesel at Kshs107.66 and Kerosene at Kshs97.85 in Nairobi.
“The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has calculated the maximum retail prices of petroleum products, which will be in force from June 15, 2021, to July 14, 2021.
“In the period under review, the price for Super Petrol increases by Ksh0.77 per litre while that of Diesel and Kerosene remain unchanged,” read the report in part.
It further indicated that the new prices were inclusive of 8 per cent Value Added Tax.
From May 15 to June 14, EPRA increased the price of Petrol by Ksh3.56 and retained the April prices for diesel and kerosene.
Prior to the changes, the fuel prices had remained unchanged from March 14 to May 14, where petrol retailed at Kshs.122.81, Diesel at Kshs.107.66 and Kerosene at Kshs.97.85 in Nairobi.
