Taking to social media, Ngunjiri expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the kind gesture shown by the Deputy President’s younger brother.
“We really feel very good when we see friends coming to visit us to give us support and tell us that this is the life we should stay, I really appreciate David,” Ngunjiri stated.
He further commended David for his work in aiding the youth in their initiatives.
“We will come together and help others where we can,” David responded to Ngunjiri’s remarks.
The legislator further alluded to Ruto’s rocky relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta adding that the DP stood by Uhuru during his trying times.
DP Ruto had visited Arthur at Aga Khan hospital where he had been admitted – before his demise.
Ruto would later attend the burial ceremony in Nakuru and spoke about his bright spirit just before his death.
“I later went to see him in hospital, and he was very cheerful. In fact, his doctors said that he was out of danger and was recovering well. They said that in one week, he would be out of the hospital. We didn’t know that he was leaving us,” the DP stated
Known to live a private life, David often keeps off the media. There are reports that David and his wife reside in the US – and have a matrimonial home here in Kenya.
David recently launched the Hustler nation movement in Kisumu County, a move many see as an attempt to follow in his brother’s footsteps – and probably launch a political career.
Much to the amusement and chants from youths, David praised the hustler narrative as he conducted a fundraiser for Nyamasaria bodaboda riders, at a zone considered to be ODM leader Raila Odinga’s backyard.
