A Kenyatta University Student, Kelvin Ndirangu Njama, was on Friday surprised by a package from Arsenal, an England-based football club.
The package came in the form of a congratulatory letter addressed to elated Njama on his graduation.
The letter, that was seen by kenyagist.com, came complete with the Arsenal letterhead and head coach Unai Emery’s signature.
Emery passionately congratulated Njama on his achievement, also thanking him for his undying support to the English football club.
“I want to send my congratulations to you as you graduate from Kenyatta University,” began Emery.
“I have read that you are a passionate supporter, I too am very passionate and excited about the journey we are taking together,” he disclosed.
Ndirangu, from his social media profile, is undoubtedly a die-hard fan of the team. Part of his statement in the profile is Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil’s name accompanied by various hashtags.
In the mail posted by air through the Royal Post, Emery concluded by sincerely thanking Ndirangu for his support.
“I thank you for your support and your emotion, we play for our supporters and you are with this team,” he closed.
Excited netizens also took to social media to share in Ndirangu’s special day with most envying the moment.
This comes days after Liverpool star Mohamed Salah’s shortlived visit to the country, where he only spent a night in Hilton Inn, Mombasa road in Nairobi.
Salah’s visit excited fans in the hotel who crammed around to take pictures with him but he only got to sign a few autographs for his supporters.
